SECTION 1
FIX FOR GALAXY SERIES 8 & HIGHER (INCLUDES NOTE 8s & HIGHER) (GEARED MORE TOWARDS TO GALAXY 10s INCLUDING NOTE 10s) 
(THIS WILL NOT WORK ON SAMSUNGS S7 & LOWER)
 

1. ) Remove third party potential threating apps just to be sure. 

2. ) Always make sure the phones up to date on the latest firmware. 

3. ) The next step is to go to the dialer ## 72786# that forces the phone to reactivate. 

4. ) Next step go back to the dialer and dial ##3282# 

4.2 ) Go to edit 

4.3 ) Then type 000000 

4.4 ) Then go to LTE 

4.5 ) Then go to band 41 that is enabled and uncheck to disable.

4.6 ) Then go to band 25 that is enabled and uncheck to disable. 

4.7 ) Then go to band 41PCII that is enabled and uncheck to disable. 

5. ) Reboot the phone don't expect full LTE service yet there are still some more steps... 

6. ) Go to settings find VOLTE and enable. Search VOLTE in the search bar to enable it . Swipe right on the button to turn it on. 
      New icon will pop up at the top of the phone if done correctly.

7. ) Then go back to the dialer and type ##3282# 

7.2 ) Go to edit

7.3 ) Then type   000000  again 

7.4 ) Then LTE again 

7.5 ) Then go to band priority 

7.6 & 7.7 ) Set both bands 41 and 25 to the bottom of the list by typing the number 17 on band 25 and 18 on band 41 and that pushes                            them down the list. Make sure band 26 is set to 1 on the priority list. 

7.8 ) Then turn off your phone and turn it back on. 

IF THE PHONE DOESN"T ACTIVATE ON LTE AND IS STUCK ON 3G *Do these following steps!*

7.9) Go to settings tap on connections and then tap on data usage turn off mobile data and wait 30 seconds

8) On the same screen turn back on mobile data and wait 15 seconds

8.1) Go back into settings and tap on connections and select air plane mode

8.2) Turn off the phone and turn the phone back on

8.3) Then go back into settings tap on connections and turn off air plane mode then phone should pick up LTE


This fix is normally broken from a network reset or Samsung software update. So reapply the fix after each update or network reset

 
Made a mistake or need to undo changes, use these steps to restore default settings. 

To perform a network reset, follow these steps.

1.) From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.


2.) Tap Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings.


3.) Tap RESET SETTINGS.


4.) If you have set up a PIN, enter it.


5.) Tap RESET SETTINGS. Once complete, a confirmation window will appear.

 

 
 
If still doesn't work you can try to flash the stock firmware through Samsung SmartSwitch or flash with Odin.
Follow guide below to flash with Odin.

If you choose to follow this guide first make sure you check Nand Erase in Odin to uninstall android and the modem.bin and reinstall it. Resources
1.) Make sure you have  an USB  2.0 Port available for best compatibility 
2.) USB-C Cable 
3.) Download Samfirm, Odin,  and Smartswitch for PC and  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo for the phone or drag the   apk  provided to the phone and install it.
4.) Make sure the Galaxy is Charged 100%
5.)  Sign out of Gmail on Galaxy before we make the full wipe
6.) Make sure the Galaxy is backed up through Smartswitch on PC
 
Steps
1.) Install Smartswitch  to back up  the phone, and in  installing the Smartswitch for PC it installs the device drivers for download mode.
2.) Mention before while you are at it backup the phone on Smartswitch for PC as it is more reliable than Samsung Cloud.
3.) Use  Phone INFO ★SAM★ to pull the phones model number for example SM-N960U not Note 9 then under CSC Code tab at the top you will see "Active CSC Code:" write what is listed. This is important so you can easily get the correct firmware. 
4.) Extract Samfirm and follow this tutorial remember you are not typing in what you see in the video you will be typing what I had you write. So plug in the model number into where it would say model number and the Active CSC Code into the Region section. 5.) Extract the firmware zip as this will be needed for Odin. Before we flash the firmware and overwrite everything on the phone. Please double check the previous steps to make sure the flash process goes  smooth. I f you need a good zip utility i recommend 7-Zip. 
6.) Assuming you have plugged in the phone into  an USB  2.0 (no blue in the USB port of the PC) this is where you want  to set up  up the galaxy into Download Mode, (MAKE SURE THE PHONE IS OFF) Press and hold Volume Down, Bixby button then press and hold Power. Then Press Volume Up to continue into Download Mode if you are having trouble watch the youtube link below.
7.) NOW THE FLASHING:  https://youtu.be/c4sPBRUoPkA?t=684 please re-watch this video as many times for you to double check the setup of Odin before pressing start and flashing the phone. When all set and done the phone will take you into recovery, wipe the cache partition and the factory reset and setup the phone.
8.) Then setup the phone activate it and the get into the home screen close odin and samfirm and open smartswitch and then restore the phone.
